Cheque from Service Management Consultancy Limited

Has anyone else received a cheque from Service Management Consultancy Limited based in Croydon? I got one in a plain brown envelope today, no compliment slip, no return address, just the cheque.

Nice though, but would be good to know where it's from. Tried googling but can't find anyone I work with. Anyone any ideas?

Can't make out the signature either, but could begin with a G.

I'm open to having more unknown cheques in brown envelopes sent to me though!!

I received a similar cheque and found your post via a Google search. Did you perhaps complete a survey about mobile phones in around April time? I have been racking my brain to come up with the source of the cheque and this is the only thing I can think of.

It's definately from a survey company, but not sure which one as I do loads of surveys. Their info at companies house doesn't give me much info, pity as I'd do more of their surveys, it was a good payment.
