I hear you on the Woolworths front but they do have a great selection of pick and mix!
I'm off to Reading Festival this weekend (yep, have wellies at the ready!), and thought I'd look for a gazebo - not the posh trellis ones, but the cheap stripy things which a lot of people have between tents.
Looked on Google, and saw that someone had bid on the word for Argos.
Argos aren't selling gazebos. At least not that I could find on the website OR my Argos Extra catalogue.
I admit it made me giggle a little, but being the kind person that I am, I thought I had better post here incase it's any of you!
(if anyone does know of any shops in the 'real world' that sells them, please let me know - I'm going down tomorrow and Woolworths on Edgware Road is crap and doesn't have any garden stuff)

I went yesterday to see if they had wellies or raincoats. Now I always remember rows and rows (or it seemed) of cheap green wellies, even in adult sizes. Yesterday they didn't go any bigger than a 1, and so I was left getting pink (!) ones from New Look.
Raincoats - in the Milton Keynes branch I'd seen school ones up to a 15-16 boys size (cheap n' cheerful) and yet again, nothing.
You'd think being in London they'd do everything?!
you'd think!
Maybe that is the niche market, tap into it and earn a fortune.
I am off camping in abersoch this weekend, looking at his weather looks like i will be sat in my tent playing eye spy!
Got any wellies I can buy?
Hi Emma,
try robert dyas for your gazebo, seem to recall a friend getting one from there. http://www.robertdyasdirect.co.uk/
they also have an aff prog![]()
harrods had loads of colourful wellies when I went there on monday.
Wellies are a must have festival item, I hear reading site is already really muddy from all the rain.
I've only just finished being a student - I can't afford to shop in Harrods!Originally posted by purple

yes. apparently it's going to rain on Friday too, but be sunny on Saturday & Sunday. I'm all for being back with nature, but it's so much nicer if nature is dry and calm.
harrods got a 'exclusive' 10% off cardholder event soon, so that might be a bit cheeper for yous
You have to be able to get a Harrods card first!!Originally posted by Mc661

You don't need wellies. Half the fun of a festival is getting your trousers caked in mud![]()
