    domain redirection

    Hi all,
I've just bought a domain similar to one of my own - but with hyphens. I've been watching the domain and it had become detagged. I finally jumped in and bought it last night. It has considerably more inbound links than my own so I'm hoping for an improvement in the SERPS.
Should I use a redirect to my current site? What would the best way of dealing with this without duplicate site content?

    Cheers

Don't quote me on this but from what i've read you should benefit from inbound links for a short while but a newly registered or transfered domain name doesn't keep any page rank. I haven't tried this though so i can't back that up with any stats.

If your host has domain parking you could set that up for your new domain, or go one further and make it an add on domain. This last solution might cost you a little extra if it's not bundled in with your current hosting package.
