Has anyone had any problems with dissappearing commissions? Im getting paranoid about how networks report their declined/reversed/written off commissions. I'm now saving my own records weekly or fortnightly so that I can check whether some commissions have been removed or reversed without my knowledge. I wont name any networks cause I dont have the proof this time. But has anyone else had this happen in the past... As a newby to the forum I couldnt find any old threads on this.

    Cheers

You might be finding you are getting commissions clawed back when the customer returns items as unwanted or does not complete an action like a loan application.

If the sale has not gone through or is refunded you may have your commission taken back.

I have had £10 commission removed by one of the networks I use. They cannot claim it is clawed back as it has been too long. I do not use this network very often and only had a small balance payable.

I haven't bothered to complain as the sum is too small to worry about, but it has put me off a bit using this particular network.

But as Sillyjokes says, usually it is because customers fail credit checks or return the goods etc.

If it's CJ then it's probably because they are treating your account as Dormant.

    I have not really noticed!

But it's always best to keep an eye on commissions, especially from ppc affiliate programs.
