Finally broke through the $100 barrier for adsense

Hi Guys, well my site has been live for 5 months now, with adsense on for four months and I have finally got through the $100 barrier.

Just wondered how long it took you guys to get to $100 from adsense for a single site?

I would imaging most folks here where already pretty experienced in affiliate marketing way before adsense came to be.

Looking at my stats the very first day I joined Adsense (22nd July 2003) I did $132.54.

imo adsense clickthrough rates and earnings per click have dropped slightly since the early days, although it is still a very good earner when used properly.

Sept $4.77
Aug $11.68
July $10.48
Jun $8.20
May $8.71
Apr $9.37
Mar $9.71

Well done indeed.

After 6 months I'm still struggling to break through the $20 barrier. I knew I shouldn't have started this game - what's wrong with mowing the lawn, sitting around drinking a few beverages. Why do I want to wake up everyday and get depressed after looking at the web stats.

Mind you, still less depressing than looking in the mirror every morning.

AdSense is a fantastic way of adding income from your site, in fact I think I earn more per click on Adsense than I do from the affiliate programs I promote.

I started on AdSense a year ago and have increaed my earnings every month since. From $200 last September to this month when I will break the $5K barrier.
