Web shoppers spend £770 per year
Just in case you needed a bit of encouragement, here is an interesting story from today's Evening Standard:
"Shoppers surfing the internet spent an average £770 each last year on goods and services.
Almost half those polled had purchased a holiday, flight or hotel in the past 12 months.
Close behind were CDs and other forms of music, bought by 45%.
Meanwhile, 39% of the 2,021 British adults questioned had splashed out on clothes or shoes online in the past year, and 34% had bought electrical items such as a TV or DVD player.
The number of people shopping on the internet has risen dramatically, according to the YouGov survey commissioned by Alliance & Leicester"
