WMW Las Vegas

Have just booked WMW in Vegas (16th - 18th Nov) - so who else is going - loads of cheap flights going there at the moment (even sub £300 from MAN, or just above £300 from Brum & London).

New York SES was well worth it earlier in the year, and this one looks even better - much more affiliate friendly & hopefully a slightly sunnier location.

Brief rant - had problems with credit card being accepted AGAIN - similar problems paying for NYC conference - what is it with these guys, aren't they supposed to be the leaders in running profitable websites???

If anyone's still up, the price is $499 until 1st Oct - they cleverly don't say what it rises to after this, so I guess they want you to book now!

Haven't booked flights / hotels yet, so if anyone interested in meeting up, please pm me. I'll certainly want to be taking a Grand Canyon flight, and may look at taking in LA and/or San Fran too.

Think supporters rate is still at $399, I hope so anyway. Going to see how I get on with Vegas next week, but having been to Pubcons before I'm keen. The clash with the GTG is an issue, but it seems a lot of people aren't attending that anyway.

I'll be there from Thursday 11th until Thursday 25th of Nov, so please pm or post here if you want to meet up.

Rather than my usual hopping from place to place, I'm going to spend all of my time in and around Vegas, so if anyone wants to share a car to drive around for a bit, or join me on a flight over the Grand Canyon etc, please let me know.

It seems there'll be quite a few of us there, so can we have our own mini g2g at some stage?

I'll be there, it's booked. Arriving Monday late through Thursday evening. Hope to share my knowledge of the industry and learn from others. Not to mention gamble a little, drink a bit, and whatever else happens!

unaviodable clash I'm afraid its a busy time of year within the hotel and conference industry..

Also there are lots of people going to the G2G! - We are already beating the attendance figures set at the Gloucester boat trip!

Fly early Sunday 14th to Vegas for WMW then on Thursday 18th fly back from Vegas to get into the UK for midday Friday. Then driving up to A4U GTG.

Missing the last WMW day Pub session, but sure I'll have done plenty of that in the days before

A bunch of affiliates are meeting up on Wednesday nite. I *think* they are meeting at the Riviera but it keeps changing. There is a post in midnight cafe over at abestweb, if anyone wants to hook up with a bunch of other affiliates at the conference.

I decided not to go, but we are sending Mike Bump from our team. Look him up Wed night if you can.
