Just a random Friday evening question...

On our profile of most networks is our main site with a description that relates (or is limited) to what we're pretty much known for doing - obviously td allows us to add different sites and that helps a little - but how can we, on other networks - let merchants know that we run other sites/have new sites/have ideas?

    Anyone know? Have any suggestions?

Or is it about time (or a good idea if) networks allowed affiliates to create a bigger profile to help merchants find potential partners to work on promotional ideas/sponsorships/seasonal interests/identify opportunities?

And vice versa... come to think of it?

I think it's a great idea to allow affiliates to create a bigger profile on the networks web site.

Loads of merchants are small internet businesses. Loads of affiliates are small internet businesses. There's not really a huge difference between the two in many cases.

At the moment it is very much a one way street. I.e. merchants display their wares on the networks, waiting for the invisible affiliates to come and choose them. It would be nice as a merchant to have access to a database of affiliates and be able to approach them too.

This forum and G2Gs are great for meeting affs and merchants alike, but displaying affiliate company info (or individual info) on a network would be a massive bonus.

PoR let you set up sub accounts so you can have a different account for each site.

The only problem is that although all the commission is paid out under the main account you can't get a combined view of the stats.
