site hijacked.. or do I have scumware?

Wondering if someone could check something for me.

I registered the domain gbsites.com a little while ago (still not sure why... but who needs a reason). Went to check it tonight at the bill arrived today and can see that it is now pointing to mailorderworld[dot]com - which has nothing to do with me.

Am checking this from my old laptop, which I don't use that often, so it could be a spyware thing. But wondered what others are seeing. DNS records still quote me as owner.

Well I am guessing that this would be a breach of the TOS for most of the networks providing the ads on that site. Think it is worth reporting to them all?

I will certainly have to give that 0870 number a call too. Other suggestions welcome.

Your host probably just pointed the domain at the wrong web space.

I'd start by quizzing them.

The domain isn't pointed to any hosting space. It was registered at 123-reg and never touched. Odd thing is that if I log in there apparently isn't any forwaring set up now either.

Could just change the DNS, but intrigued to know what is going on.

Matt, there are 146107 domains found on 212.67.202.241, which is the IP of gbsites.com (and mailorderworld.com)

It looks like there is a redirect going on, but on the PTR not on the domain itself (redirect.123reg.co.uk)
