Anybody had any good experiences with outsourcing link building to India or somewhere else like that where the rate is fairly cheap?
Because I consider this to be a gamble anyway (eg. website could be catapulted into oblivion on SEs!) I would not want to pay too much as it could backfire even when paying shedloads!

    Cheers for all feedback,

I know this has been mentioned before but with the precariousness of search engines and marketing in general getting crazier every month I am seriously leaning towards it now cos I don't feel that I have much to lose anymore... sob sob!

    Thanks,

When I get emails from people asking for links I first look to see if it is an out sourced link collector and delete it if it is.

There is very limited benefit to being on a page with hundreds of other unrelated links in my view.

I got a guy building mine at the moment and it's being a waste of time really, some of the pages he's got links from are crap, you could be on a PR 9 page but when you are 1 of 500 it' don't really count does it.

Surely there must be some good experiences out there?

I understand what you mean about getting a link amongst tons of irrelevant links. But what about quality links from relevant pages?

Yes i've got a guy doing this for me and he's been excellent. You do need to explain the whole process to them so they know who to contact etc. I've seen a good rise in traffic from it.

If you want to have a chat with my guys then please pm me and i'll get you intouch with them.

We have had a guy doing this for about three years. He is pretty good and very cheap :-)

The sites we run are mainly niche directory sites with good PR so it makes his job relatively easy. However, he will source new sites to link with, apporoach the webmaster with a personalised email and then deal with all new links when they are made, check for the reciprical link back and finally approve sites to be added to our directory. They even now deal with the dozens of unsolicited requests we get each week.

They are pretty good in picking up quality links and the fully aware of the way PR works.

All in all very happy with them.
