Tell you what,
We'll throw in a box of your favourite chocolate bars as well.
We don't believe in only promoting 'Bounty' because it's not fair on other confectionary manufacturers.

Hi Frostie,
The job is based in central London (Piccadilly)
We do have a few key staff who do 1 or 2 days out of the office. But our preference is to have someone working full time from our London office.
Cheers

Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.
If ignorance is bliss then some of the people I know must be orgasmic.
I was just wondering how big a box of chocs...

just one bit of the job ad seems a bit scary to me
"£20 - £30k (depending on experience)"
Chris if I was giving someone £333k to spend I'd be wanting someone with all the experience, £10k pay cut for someone with less experience could end up being a waste of something daft like £50k !?
don't envy you recruiting for this kind of post![]()
Very good point - but if they didn't have all of the experience we are looking for, and needed a bit of training, we would be working closely with them for the first few months to ensure that they didn't make any big mistakes (like lose £50k - lol).Chris if I was giving someone £333k to spend I'd be wanting someone with all the experience, £10k pay cut for someone with less experience could end up being a waste of something daft like £50k !?

What scare me even more about the same sentence;
Read it out loud to yourself...£20 - £30k (depending on experience)
"Twenty pounds to Thirty Thousand pounds depending on experience".
As for the experience, you pay for what you get, and you never know what you get until at least you have attracted people to interviews in the first place. Although £333k is a lot of money to us, it isn't really a big marketing budget when comparing to some companies and its this you need to remember.
Someone I know looks after a annual budget of nearly £1m and is on very little more than £40k. Its this type of person you want to attract, someone with experience and is used to overseeing the expenditure of marketing budgets - something I am hopeless at![]()
Someone who is used to managing big budgets is definately a plus.Someone I know looks after a annual budget of nearly £1m and is on very little more than £40k. Its this type of person you want to attract, someone with experience and is used to overseeing the expenditure of marketing budgets - something I am hopeless at
But you are right, you do get what you pay for. A very good person will cost a lot more money - we would pay more with a view to the return on investment being higher.
If you know anyone else, then please encourage them to apply.
