Hi, thanks for the feedback i've received on this site so far, been really helpful. Just another query. There is a merchant offering an affiliate program which i have recently joined. For a specific keyword, this merchant's website is the only one that shows up in google, yahoo etc, however it shows all 105 web pages. I've done some research and this keyword is searched thousands of times per month, therefore i want to rank higher than them! My knowledge is limited when it comes to seo but i know the basics. Does anyone know where i can find more advanced info and any ideas on what i need to? Thanks a lot.

seo cannot be described, seo is an art, what you need to do is view their site, and look why they rank for that term.

a few key factos are,
- inbound links & their anchor text
- keyword density

or you could pay some guy £XXXX per year for a 'guarenteed' top 10. If your that stupid, then im your guy! PM me, im skint.

Stick webmasterworld and seochat websites in your bookmarks and make a point of visiting them often and slowly you'll pick up the principles of seo.
