Hi, whilst being very new to affiliate marketing on the internet, i am now starting to make some good money. However I have no tracking procedures in place. Will installing the stats feature that is available with my hosting be sufficient? How does everyone out there do it?
You can normally get some good estimates of where your traffic is coming from with your current hosts stats package. They are not totally accurate though but good enough for the basics.
If you need to dig deeper WebTrends or a similar package will suffice. You could also create your own tracking system if necessary.
