I hope findspot are enjoying my traffic.
It increased!
No change
Up to 20% fall
Up to 50% fall
Feels like a wipeout!
The 20th Dec Google update has hit quite a few affiliates hard including ourselves.
I just wonder how it must have impacted on the networks??? Ouch!
How much do you think the 20th Dec update has dented your revenue?
I hope findspot are enjoying my traffic.
Can't say I noticed much of a difference but I have been hit hard by Google in the past for some of my businesses.

Yes Findspot needs removing. It's hurting me too!
Also hurting me but giving me traffic too.Originally posted by angelabx

I can't see why google would remove it though.
It's probably giving better results than google is at the moment!
Cheers

A couple of my sites haven't been affected, but others are down about 50%. The problem is its hard to know how much of that 50% is down to Google and how much of it is down to the general slow down at the start of the year compared to the end. Referals are down about 50%, but that doesn't help focus on the cause.
I'm just trying to forget about it, but am using the slight panic feeling to motivate me to get on with work on new projects - I don't know of anything I can do to the sites that are down on traffic to get it increased other than wait for the next update.
Not noticed any change really, other than the fact xmas is over!
Was hit hard in August and now find merchants rank better than me for some terms![]()
One of my sites has a list of findspot urls as referrals as long as your arm. Last month it would have been plain google and real search engines in there.
One of my sites has increased to about 8 times the number of referrals a day. The rest appear quite flat.
"One of my sites has increased to about 8 times the number of referrals a day."
So you'd be the owner of Findspot then !
traffic is ~okay ish, but revenue is well down, might just be the after xmas blues though

don't suppose anybody fancies explaining what findspot is doing to nick everyones traffic ?

Though I don't know because I'm a bit drunk to look up in the archives (oh dear again). Findspot is probably a new site?
I find that all my new sites do well for the first 2 months and then go down the *hitter for short keywords based hits (one to two words). I wouldn't b surprised if findspot disappears next month (I have noticed them on almost every keyword based seach I run in comparison to my site this month). Could this be the 'sandbox?' results.

I agree with this comment. I can see why they would remove it. Its providing relevant and unique results. It's probably giving better results than google is at the moment!
