Valentines day sales?

Fairly new to all this, so would be interested in hearing
how previous Valentines days have been.
I put a gifts and flowers site online a couple of weeks ago and it is
already started making a number of sales.
I'm suprised by this and wonder if it is general sales rather than
Valentines day sales?
If others have valentines related sites, what is your experience
of when sales start? are the sales I have made more likely to
be general sales or people buying early for Valentines day?

we started to see valentines day sales come through last week and it's picked up a lot as of yesterday. Next week will go mental as people never leave enough time!

Didnt anyone tell you? i cancelled valentines day for this year, sorry about that, was meaning to get round to telling everyone personally

Yep - we are the same as Natural Instinct. We've started doing approximately double our usual amount of sales. Hopefully next week will get even busier.

My sales always go down at valentines day, as I put all of my effort into finding my next victim, um, I mean date.
