Text links - include 1 pixel image?

There's a section on our website that contains text links to 9 different travel websites.

I only used the destination URL from the various affy websites, stripping out the 1 pixel image bit.

Is it worth putting these images back in?

I'm not realy interested in how many impressions there are of these images, but was wondering if there would be any other advantages to having them?

nope, if your not bothered about impressions then leave them out.

personally wouldnt bother with them.

just look at your page stats and thet'll be about right
