I'm going to be streamlining my business this year and putting more focus into a smaller range of sites. So with that in mind I'm going to sell one of my sites. Here are some details...
Type of site: Consumer electronics niche, review and price comparison
UV's per day: Between 700 and 1000
Search engines: Number 4 and 5 in Google.com for the 2 main key phrases relating to the industry. Lots of other good rankings too for smaller phrases.
How old? The site has been live since August 2003.
Google PR: 5
DMOZ listed: Yes
Newsletter subscribers: Almost 6000, these users will be included in the deal.
Paid advertising: At the moment one company pay to place a 468 banner on every page. We have a rolling 6 month contract.
What does the site earn? Well with no ppc whatsoever and just SEO the site brings in anything from £800 to £1500 a month in commissions.
The other good thing about this market is that it is currently enjoying huge growth and has massive potential over the next few years. Also ppc bids are very reasonable and currently stand at under 25p for most terms.
Basically this site does well on it's own but has the potential to do a whole lot better if someone has the time and dedication to work at it.
I won't post the URL here as it's against the T's and C's but please feel free to PM me or email me on info at ukoffer dot com to find out more.
Cheers!
Kieron

whats SEO
i thought this was Search Engine Optimisation
how do you make money from that?
SEO traffic is free traffic from natural search engine listings.
PPC traffic is from buying search terms off people like overture, google adwords

Personally, I don't think it was particularly well handled but what do I know - so long as you're happy, I'm happy.

Hi
Just wanted to be up front and say I bought it - this may aggrieve some people but most know I am an affiliate at heart and the price was fair and its not ppc related so I bought it.
If you have an issue with this then by all means drop me a line to talk through it
Thanks
Mal

Thanks for the honesty Mal.![]()
I have no problem with you buying it. It's well known you're an aff as well as being involved with buy.at. Good luck with the new site and I hope it does well for you.
I like your stance on the PPC piracy issue as well. Fair play to you.

Quick question: What wordpress template was the site built with? Is there any chance to buy it somewhere?
