Jess leaves ASOS today!

Oh well Jess, doesn't seem 3 years since you went to ASOS, doesn't time fly when you're getting old?!
I expect as you look around the office at faces you have come to know, some of them friends, others respected workmates and the one annoying git in the corner who always borrows things and never gives them back ( yup - there is always one!) you will have mixed emotions about leaving.
The sadness mixing with the temporary release of pressure (no deep feeds to do next week!) and thoughts about the future:
Will you be happy wherever you go?
Will you get on with people?
Are the tea bags part of the enumeration package or do you have to pay into a kitty?
You will look into your workmates eyes trying to read their thoughts:
Are they feeling sadness?
Will they miss me when I'm gone?
Did they get me a nice leaving pressie or a rude one (or both!)
You clear your office draw full of those important work things every working women has.
The broken lipstick, the make up bag, sweetie wrappers, that one annoying toffee that has gone all gooey and bonded itself to your diary, the half eaten packet of chocky biccys, the sachet of Cadbury's drinking chocolate and the unopened Pot Noodle (wherever made you buy the coriander and broccoli flavoured one in the first place?!)
And there at the back of the drawer, that embarrassing secret Santa you got two years ago. Should you take it home? Will they notice if you leave it. Would the batteries still work anyway?!
And, at the end of the day as you glance back at friends and colleagues (sniff) who have hung back to wish you well (but in reality want your office chair and Scooby Doo computer mouse) your final thoughts.
What a blast it's been at ASOS. What a stack of friends I've made. Will they really make me go home on the Tube with this fecking naff helium balloon?!

So have a good last day Jess, don't be sad, think of the happy times ahead, the first one being Monday morning when you don't have to get up early for work!!
