  Quick EPC question?

I've always reported what I consider to be the true EPC...

Earnings/click = EPC

This obviously is a lot lower than the CJ and POR method of reporting which is to represent this figure as a multiple of 100.

(earnings/clicks)*100 = EPC

Anyway...

Recently I’ve taken on a whole batch of additional reporting which uses the second method. Simple question is which method would you choose so that all reports conform to at least one standard.

I don’t think it really matters, but I thought I’d throw it out there just out of interest and see if there was a general sway to a particular method.

Cheers
Paul.

Buy.at, AW and TD also use the per 100 clicks on reports.. so pretty wide spread.

Earnings per 100 Clicks 16 - 48.48%
Earnings per Click 16 - 48.48%
Earnings per Customer 1 - 3.03%

Ok own up, who thought it was "earnings per customer" ?

It shoudl be earnings per click as that's what EPC stands for. If it's going to be multiplied by 100 we need a new acronym.

People using EPC to mean Earnings Per Hundred Clicks are using C as the Roman Numeral.

Still confusing though. It's a bit like the old 'hits' scam of counting gifs and the like.

I voted for per click because thats what makes sense even though its not the standard

As has been said in other threads there should be EPHC for per 100 clicks
