PPC question...
Lot’s of companies are asking to be listed on our designer.co.uk site but have no affiliate scheme. Hate turning away business and was wondering has anyone seen anyone offering a ppc service where we can ern for simply sending someone to another site. I assume it could work like overture or add words but through a third party – ie someone sets up an account with the third party and deposits £50 then every time a user on my site clicks the link 10p is transferred to my account…
Sorry if this is a newbie question – I did try and ‘search’ for an answer
Thanks
B

The alternative would be to charge them for a monthly listing. That way you would have a guaranteed income stream, rather than it depending on the number of clicks they had.

With best wishes.

Are you sure people are not just requesting "backlinks" to improve their ranking with google.
Im sure looking at your site you get plenty of visitors, but I dont see why anyone would pay to be on your site based on your Page Rank or basic google SERPS.
Just a thought....

I don’t want them to pay a standard fee as the merchants we have at the moment pay between £0 and £500 so I don’t want to let tem have it cheep and as the site develops (or really takes off) I may be almost giving the clicks away.
I have actually asked the merchants who want a link to their site (but don’t have an affiliate scheme) if the would be willing to ppc and most have said they would – as one guy said he already pays using adwords etc…
Most of our visitors come to the site by finding us through the brands we list ‘hooch clothing’ for example and as that is the way the merchant found us they are interested.
Cheers
