Testing stuff on free hosting?

Does anyone test campaigns quite cheaply by using free hosting like geocities and not bothering to get a domain name till it takes off? Just wondering if this will be more efficient than getting a domain name and everything.

Hmm domains are really quite cheap and hosting can be too.

Well, I'm only at the beginning of my long journey to become a super affiliate. So domains and hosting for me are still a bit pricey for me. But maybe I could avoid the hosting problem, it is advisable to just use the "add-on domains" option in the hosting control panel? Might cut down on some of the prices.

Yes I use addon domains on one set of hosting.


You could just use subdomains of existing domains if you don't want to splash out on a new one.

Yea, I was considering getting a generic one name fits all name, and then using subdomains, I might just do that. Thanks for the advice.
