I currently hold around 50 domains, 10 of which I am looking to sell to raise some capital. The remainig domains are for projects I am working on in the near to mid-term and also some domains I am keeping as long term sale prospects.

Why would I have made a fortune in the last few weeks, you have been doing this how long? It is fair to say that I will make faster and more consistent progress than yourself, simply because your raison d'etre is sniping from the sidelines. You are a font of neagativity and petty posturing, both tiresome and irrelavant.

The simple way to test this theory about blogs is to do it.
If it works for you great.If it doesn't put it down to experience.
As I said previously "IMO" the the time spent on one blog (someone gave a time of 20 mins) I can send out 20 targeted emails for quality links.From those I would expect between 4 and 8 good link exchanges.Multiply that out over a week, month or year and compare number of links from a multitude of sites to the same old links that you put into a blog.

Point me to where I said it was a bad idea to send emails out to sites asking for links? I simply suggested that it is getting harder to get links, that link farms are worthless and that blogs can be a useful adjunct to an inbound link building strategy. Is that sand still in your vagina?
