  Ban Friday Newsletters :-)

Not totally serious but it's around this time on Friday that my inbox starts to get full with newsletters from merchants. I understand that it's probably something the merchants are trying to get done "this week" but I think it's about the worst day to send it.

If I am at all typical then I'm not likely to read these Friday afternoon emails and most likely to up deleting a whole bunch of them on Monday morning.

Random post I know but I'm sure merchants might find their newsletters get read better at other times in the week.

Just got about 20 newsletters all at the same time, leaving for the pub in about five minutes to celebrate no more Michael Howard. Trust me, these are NOT getting read. Tuesday would be better

Just subscribe to the FHM newsletter, which arrives around mid day, and you'll be too busy to even think of checking your emails and so you won't be bothered by them coming on Friday
