Some advice for an established site

Hi,

I don't know if this is the right place to be asking and I noticed you weren't meant to promote your site but I was just looking for some general advice on how to improve things inc revenue, search engine placement, advertising etc. My main site is Expert Betting Advice. The forum gets a very large amount of traffic but I feel as though I could be doing a lot better from a money making point of view. I have a few other sites, again in my sig, can I use these in to help each other in other ways apart from links etc? In the last few months I've started to get approached by companies wanting to advertise rather than affiliate and this seems a better way to go but are there other options out there?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like youve done up the site since I was last there - looks great

Id recommend getting some poker content - I expect a decent proportion of your ad enquiries are like ours and very poker/casino focused. The poker tends to work a lot better, although many of these media agencies havent much of a clue about what will get them the traffic hence its hard to deliver enough value to have them renew the advertising without selling yourself short.

On your site Id recommend trying to get rid of the sessionids from the forum so that the search engines will index more of it.

One thing that may help to increase your revenue is to put text links for all the bookmakers on your free bets page, many users are 'banner blind' and others have them turned off or blocked.

It's not going to make you a millionaire, but you could have your brat pack site linking through to related products at Amazon.
