    Hi

Thanks to Matt for a greast GTG last night. And thanks for all the positive feedback on www.frankisfrank.co.uk.

We have just finished programming the ability for visitors to make use of promotional codes on the site that I want to offer to affiliates A.S.A.P. Can anyone give me any tips on what works best for you? Free delivery, £10 off first order, static 10% off etc. Want to offer something that is going benefit the programme the most.

    Thanks

    Melissa

    Hi Melissa

Voucher pages are by far the most popular pages on our site http://www.eliteshops.co.uk/vouchers.html

Here is the popularity as we see it

    1. % off everything
    2. % off your first order
    3. money off your first order
    4. free delivery voucher
    5. voucher to use on your next purchase

What a lot of merchants do forget to do is tell us when the voucher expires. (hint hint)

Hope this helps and look forward to adding the voucher to our pages

    Best Wishes

    Alan

    I agree with eliteshops.

My tip would be to give each affiliate a different code so we can all promote our discount/offer as exclusive and we can more easily track down people ripping our site content - I've found codes only we legitimately have on other sites.

Alan - dont know if you know but the url you've posted for your vouchers page is giving a 404 error
Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.

If ignorance is bliss then some of the people I know must be orgasmic.

    Hi

Thanks for the replies. I might be being stupid but with regards to seperate codes for affiliates, I work through a network so don't have direct access to my affiliates to give them the code - is there an easy way round this?

This wouls also be useful my end as I can track what offers affiliates are using if I design banners for a couple of different incentives.

    Thanks

    Melissa

    Hi,

I find that time limited offers for % discounts or fixed value discounts work best.

I set a value threshold on the amount that a customer has to spend to push up the order value.

Since introducing my promotional code scheme sales have increased.

    Regards,
