Zanox do a lot in Germany, I will be working with them as a merchant in the future but can't comment on anything other than very good customer support at the moment.
Just wondered if anyone has any luck promoting in other EU countires. Reason i ask is that i speak fluent german and was thinking of putting it to use. I've Had a quick scan at what programs are available and might be a few wrth looking in to.
If anyone does, do you find it easier (im guessing there is less compeititon in some countries) or is the industry itself not as advanced as over herE?
Be interested to hear from anyone.
cheers

Hi Frazer
We promote our gaming merchants to European affiliates and generally find the marketplace more restrictive for this industry sector (depending on the country's gambling legislature). Does this help at all, or are you really looking for an affiliate's opinion on this?

catherine, i know of the restrictions in most of the european countries...and lately i hear rumours in greece that the local monopoly is going/taking actions against newspapers, websites and media in general promoting these kind of services.
BUT isnt there a case against the italian state monopoly of gambling and lottery that monopoly practices within EU are not allowed? or have i missed something?

Hi KGP
I'm sure that somewhere you must be right - monopolies aren't exactly commonplace nowadays - however it seems that there's some kind of loop-hole as far as gambling is concerned. State lottos are legal in many European countries, just not open-market gaming! I have an interesting article (in German) I could email to you about the situation in Germany, if you'd like? I'm afraid that I'm not so knowledgable about the situation in Italy or Greece...most of my information is gleaned from the French and German markets.
Best regards
Catherine
