    Hey All,

We are a registered dealer for Three, Orange and T Mobile. We have a few sites already on air with Google PR 3-4.

We would soon be starting an aggressive affiliate marketing campaign for our websites. We are looking for affiliates who can generate good amount of sales for us. I would like to know what kind of pay out structure would you be looking for and how many sales can you generate for us.

    Hi Martin,

    Thanks for your post.

Without seeing your site and your deals i cannot begin to look or explain how many sales i could push through you as I can't compare your deals with other merchants I promote. I work with over 20 merchants, 1 in particular i drive over 100 contract connections a month for, but as far as i can tell they have the best deals on the net.

Please feel free to PM me and we can have a chat. Would be very interested to at least look at your URL in the first instance though.

    Cheers

Tiger (Super Mobile Phone Affiliate - well i'd like to think so!)

P.S. Forgot to mention, would only consider working with you on an application basis and through a third party network, preferably affiliate future.

    Hi Affiliates,

You can now go through our site and check the deals out.

    www.mobilerainbow.co.uk

Please inform me about your ideas and views, and also if you would like to join our affiliate program.

We are currently offering to our affiliates £35 for each completed connection for 3 and £28 for Orange and T Mobile. PLUS if you supply us with over 200 completed contracts per month we pay a bonus of £4 per contract.

Commission will be reviewed weekly and special offers will also be available.

Bizarrely, the picture of the Nokia 6680 you have on the front page has a watermark from *my* site visible down the right hand side. It looks like a slight ribbing effect at that resolution.. it's actually the name of the site.

Odd thing to have since pictures of Nokias are usually pretty easy to find!

There's plenty to say about your site but the most worrying thing is probably the fact that your "buy now" buttons don't do anything.

    I'm on windows xp
    firefox v. 1.0.6

If you get that fixed i'm sure conversion rates would improve

Unless the picture has changed I cant see how you can possibly know that image is yours - I've magnified the image and can make out no discernable watermark down the right hand side at all.

I've got no connection with Mobile Rainbow - I'm just intrigued to know how you reckon just from looking at it that that image is yours.
Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.

If ignorance is bliss then some of the people I know must be orgasmic.

Ah well I'd have to reveal my site to reveal the watermarking.. but it's the slight pale and dark ribbing down the right hand site of the photograph. It's actually from my site and then reduced somewhat.. normal pictures of the phone don't have it. I get my images from the manufacturer like most people.. the only reason I watermark the images is to try to stop people nicking the text as well (the merchant hasn't done this).

I'm now a great believer in watermarking. For example, there's a pretty common picture of what is supposed to be the Orange SPV M2000 which features an Orange-coloured sunset.. this is very widely used by many merchants. It's actually something that *I* photoshopped from a stock image by the OEM manufacturer and then mocked up to make it look like that handset. The real SPV M2000 looks a little different. Unfortunately, it all got a bit out of hand!

    Paul.

    Paul,

Thanks very much for your feedback.

The reason why "Buy now" button was not working with firefox was that firefox does not support few of javascript functions. This has been rectified and it should work now...

you said: "There's plenty to say about your site ...." I would really apreciate any valuable feedback which can help us improve our website and most importantly our deals.

    Please go ahead.......

Ah well you found me out The watermarked image has gone now. Finding those images can be a real trial sometimes though!

The site seems to work OK in Mozilla. I was a bit miffed to see that insurance is foisted on you whether you like it or not.

I take it payment for these is per SALE and not per application. In which case, I will pobably not be working with you as I work on an APP basis unless the per sale is increased in line with 50% conversions and other competing merchants application payments which can be foound on the very same network you have launched on Martin.

    Hi All,

After receiving suggestions from various affiliates we have finally launched our application based program on AF network. This will replace the previous sale based.

We are offering the following commissions for each valid application for contract phone:

    On 3 Network - £16

    On T-mobile and Orange - £12

In addition to this, our affiliates would get £4 bonus on all applications over 30.

*valid application would be one with valid bank and credit/debit card details (CV2 and AVS check passed) and a residential history of 3 years.

We have a range of banners promoting our special offers (we also make customised banners for our affiliates as and when they require.) Very soon we are going to have the CSV feed available through the AF Product Tools.

Apart from this if an affiliate wants to promote any particular deal which is not on the website, we can create customised deals for such affiliates......

    That is it for now.......
