Marketing/Selling your customer information...
Hi guys,
I have a quick question, which I was hoping you may be able to share your knowledge with !
I have a client who has a fairly large customer database (60k+) with information such as address, email, telephone etc which has been gathered on the basis that customers opt 'to receive information from selected 3rd parties' about relational products are services that they may be interested in.
My client is basically interested in marketing/selling this information to relational 3rd party companies or marketing companies. I've had a hunt around on google but haven't yet found anything, other than companies offering to sell you this type of information.
Has anyone ever done this type of thing before? or have recommendations on companies who will purchase this type of information from you?
The details are all from customers aged between 16-24, interested in technology, games, ringtones, mobile phones etc so I would imagine its quite valuable content.
Any advice, recommendations or experiences would be much appreciated !
