Hi All,
I manage a few datafeed based affiliate sites and a few months ago I started making a web based PHP/SQL/Java application that allows me to aggregate all feeds into one database and manage them in catagory structure. The application obviously requires a plugin for each datafeed however it's proving to be quite handy. It also uses a templating mechanism whereby you provide html with tags and it inserts the product and category information. So it's very easy for datafeed beginners to use.
At the moment it only supports amazon,tradedoubler and affiliate window but the plugins are very easy to write and so more providers should not be difficult to implement.
I'm considering selling it or giving it out as open source and charging for support. But what I would like to know is what kind of interest is there out there for this kind of thing and if I were to charge for it (or for support), how much should I charge?
