    Hi all,

I have almost finished a new website which is using medifusions dvd price feed.
so it's basically a dvd price comparison site, but I will be making and identical site for Games price comparison in the near future.

I'd appreciate any feedback on the site - design etc, in fact anything at all. I'm pretty new to this so it really woul be appreciated.

    the site is http://www.search-dvd.co.uk

there are still outstanding things to do such as sort out the links, but the funcionaility is just about finished.

    cheers

When there is more than one page of results, you only have a link saying "Next page of results". I think it would be a lot better if you displayed how many pages were returned, and have the ability to select any of the pages.

I think your comparison script is a little sluggish too.

I like the design though, looks attractive!

I really like the layout. Once the bugs above are resolved I think it will be great.

    Looks really professionally done imo.

    Love Thy Neighbour
    Hornblower
    Erotic Confessions

cor blimey I thought you were joking then!

unfortunately, the search results are out of my hands

interestingly, if you had put a space between star and wars, you would have go the result you wanted

Very nice design, but how often do you update.
    Example Madagascar, your featured title.
Both Amazon and Woolworths are more than halway down showing prices of £13.44 and £13.99 but if you click on them and go to site they give a price of £11.99 which should put them virtually at the top of your value chart.

the feed is supposedly updated regularly, but i suppose there is always a chance of errors in the feed. Thanks for raising it though - it highlights something I will need to keep an eye on.

Nice site Matty. I use the medifusion game feeds quite a bit and I think they're worth the 50% profit share. I've put the the code for previous links and a fix to stop the first page occasionally appearing twice in the game forum at http://www.medifusion.co.uk.
One thing you might want to look at is the fetchprices.php page - Google doesn't like URLs with ?id= in them so medifusion recommend that you change it for something else - I use ?game=

It's interesting to see how people use the medifusion feeds differently. I have more of a search orientated interface with more features like favourites (which noone uses yet ), but less browsing or categorisation which I'm trying to fix.

Well done - it looks like a really useful site.

PS - the tradedoubler items seem to be throwing up an error - something you might need to have a look at.
