Who are we?

A UK based company setting up a price comparison service looking to launch Jan / Feb 06. Currently planning Phase 2/3 developments which predominately involves adding further products & services to our site leveraging existing and planned innovative technology enhancements.

What we need?

Affiliate Expert(s) who have run their own successfully sites especially in the areas of travel, finance and telecommunications, who can:

> advise us on schemes we should be using either through networks or independently with vendors.
> provide input / review functional business specifications.
> assist / manage the sign-up and integration's of these schemes as enhancements to our existing product (with the use of our development team)
> gauge and review the success of the enhancements.
> advise us on the development of our own affiliate scheme.

This is effectively a part-time freelance role and might suit someone who is already running a successful site but has some spare capacity for other work.

What I am willing to provide in the way of renumeration?

> good rates of pay (for a startup) on a project basis
> potential for small equity stake for the right person.

Theres always going to be heavy competition in this area - however this is an opportunity for someone to act as a consultant to supplement their income, or it might even suit someone who is looking to move away from this area in the medium term...

Haha Kieth. I really don't see many guys on here offering their hands up too quickly because as has been said it is potentially adding competition and dilluting the market. Its one of those things where we learn by our mistakes at a cost and that is where the valuable information lies.
