    What sales pitch & benefits would you outline when suggesting to a merchant to go dual network.

    Bascially what are the advantages & disadvantages of a program on a more than one network?

    From a merchant perspective I believe that affiliates have their favourite networks and that way you give them greater choice of who to work with. It can also allow you to capture more affiliates too.

    Disadvantages are really minimal IMO, if the technology is right (ie: no problems with last referral) and you ensure your offerings are the same.

    How about pitching networks against each other to see who really wants the business and willing to go that exta mile? - not that I would do this of course

    as its what we have been thinking about.
    we like our network, but would consider another. [in addition]
    I think they would have to come up with a better deal than you already
    have, also they would have to be credible and have a fresh batch of affiliates.
    No good going with someone that has all the affiliates that you already have.
    Networks are popping out the woodwork at the moment, it must be hard for them.
