Does anyone know where I can find Amazon's product feed? I have seen a couple of posts on other forums mentioning Mrrats amazon product feed script that parses the xml feed, but hope to get the feed myself to populate mysql.

I have signed up for the Amazon associate scheme but cant find a feed, any ideas?

    cheers

You'll be wanting the Amazon E-Commerce Service - It's a powerful Web Service that gives access to Amazon's stock and many other features of the website. - http://www.amazon.com/gp/browse.html...A36L942TSJ2AJA - if only TradeDoubler could set up something like that...

As far as I know Amazon don't have a product feed as such, you would have to write a script to extract the info you wanted into a flat file or straight into a database.

It would be really easy for any network to set up a webservice using SOAP/wsdl.

A certain number of product categories could be used, the url, image, description could be passed back etc..

Something like that could even see the end of the need for product feeds.

As others have said you have to use amazon webservices, and going along with the theme of webservices you have to know what to query it with in the first place. In other words you cant just say give me data.

You have to make very specific queries as to what you want and hope it comes back with a return basically, we import more than 1 million products per day from over 3 amazon countries and it takes pretty much a full day just constant updating to keep up to date. That is also using very optimised queries.
    Nothing to see here...
