Anupun, how/where did they give you the voucher? We register with 123-reg all the time and haven't seen 'em around.

Anyone know if this is possible yet? I spoke to my Account Manager at Google a few months ago and not yet at that stage.

What I'd like to be able to do is offer my affiliates some incentive by giving them some credit with Google to do more marketing. Benefits them by giving them a new channel if they're not already using it or encouraging them to spend more of their money to see better results.

    Anyone seen this around?

Xcaping - it's possible to do with Yahoo Overture, but I don't know about Adwords. With Overture, just change this link with your own CJ affiliate ID. Then you can say, like so many sites do, that 'get $50 free Yahoo PPC credit when you sign-up with us' - and earn commission on them. Only thing is it's only for new accounts, and many of your affiliates might already have a Yahoo PPC account.

You could, of course, try asking sites which advertise free Adwords credit for how they go about setting it up.

Anupun - yes, you're right, £30 per domain name, inc. transfers. Is there any cap, either from UKReg or in each Adwords account for how many free credits you can deposit? I know some people out there have hundreds of domain names and if they transferred them to UKReg, they'd have thousands of quid in free PPC credit.

UKreg's t&cs state that the voucher is "Valid only for new Google AdWords and/or AdSense customers with self-managed accounts." and it goes on to say "One promotional credit per customer."
So I guess a lot of us here won't be able to take advantage of the offer.

I think that everytime google issue a new free voucher promotion you can use one of these each time.

I have had 3 different free vouchers added to my 1 account.
Each time though they were from a different promotion though.

Fasthosts are giving them away with domains, hosting and broadband,
but as previously stated they're restricted to new adwords customers, can only
have 1 and in the case of Fasthosts, can only be used on a site hosted by them.

What I had also considered and had asked Google was if you would credit a specific account (other than mine) from my credit card. All they said was that the system wasn't in place yet to do that. But I'm sure given time they will make it available.

Google are meant to be developing their own paypal style payments system. So maybe they will allow you to purchase adwords credits for third parties through that system.

I had seen that, not sure when it will be implement though. I think they were building that in for the Gogle Store which is already Live.
