Batting for the other side
For the past 2-3 years I have been creating and running successful sports, betting and gaming websites. I recently had a job offer as affiliate program manager and it got me thinking that perhaps this is a job that would interest me. However, thus far I have only played for the other side (so to speak) I have run websites and sent traffic to other sites via tradedoubler, affiliate window, CJ.com etc....
I know how to run websites, I know about online marketing techniques, PPC programs, I am experienced in SEO and I have a proven track record for building relationships and partnerships with other sites/webmasters. But my question is this.... What more do I need to learn to be a successful affiliate program manager?
Any advice would be great and I would also be happy to hear from anyone via msn messenger: fish4tackle@hotmail.com
Many thanks.
