but if it is '.uk.com.' then take what ever the offer is. On straight domain value with no other business attachments then these domains are normally fairly worthless.
Hi all,
One of our clients has been offered quite a bit of money for his domain name, which is a .uk.com.
Does anyone know where I would be able to get a "real" valulation of this domain name for him (without having to pay fo it ideally!)
Cheers
James

That was my thoughts as well, a .uk.com is only a third level domain name anyway and not worth much at all. I have quite a few domain names and I am happy to say, not one of them is .uk.com!
But I guess it depends on how much the business of your client, relies on the domain name and the price would have to cover the re-branding if they keep the business and just sell the domain name.

yep all these 3rd level domains (uk.com, gb.com, us.com etc etc ) are owned by CentralNic - but there is some value attributable as SEDO have a partnership with them as they are options for specific business where the normal .com is not available (nor .co.uk) ... see prestige car dealer group www.Harwoods.uk.com
