I know Just Hom are updating your feeds to include images but they all appear to be down at the minute.

The error Internet explorer gives is :

Invalid at the top level of the document. Error processing resource 'http://www.justhom.com/rss.xml'. Line 1, Position 1

Ok cheers donk for bringing that to my attention.
I did ask the developers to work on getting the images in ASAP but they should be testing offline first - i've fired off an email to them to ask if they have already started and notified them of the break in the RSS at the moment.

Actually sorry just worked out what the problem is - nothing to do with the RSS feed but it's to do with some work we had done on the GEOip system (thats why it's showing first line as United Kingdom) and it looks like the x-cart developers left in some debugging stuff which affected the RSS generation, i'll get them to remove it asap

Thanks for the quick response the feeds are all up and working now.

I've created the php code for the JustHom feeds which anyone can freely copy (and/or adapt for other merchants). ( http://www.shopping-mall.co.uk/justhom/ ). I'll update the code when the the images are included in the feeds.

theNerds did come out with their RSS coupon feed if anyone is interested.

Here is a review and info about a really strong NEW program for converting
affiliate datafeeds to RSS. The one I told you about before only converted feeds to WordPress, this one works with anything.

Last but not least, a couple warnings about EBAY RSS datafeeds.

The auction heading does not contain your affiliate link, it's just a plain link,without your ID so if anyone clicks the title instead of the body links, it wont track. Now eBay is aware and working on a fix.

I found an article on DIGG that I wanted to share here.

I'm not sure if everything he says is accurate, but think it's worth looking at.
He warns about ways that you could lose money using eBay RSS feeds. He cautions that some methods could cause your links not to track and makes some good points that should be checked.

Great to see webgains offer XML feeds (RSS is an implementation of XML) from their merchants, very useful for us.

Now if only Affiliate Future would offer the same thing instead of (or in addition to) .csv files!!

Just a simple question, (dont want to get grilled) but what is the point of thousands of merchants running round trying to make rss feeds all seperately when networks should be able to make them automatically from the data feeds that they are supplied.

As long as the data feed is correct then the networks can use timestamps of the date the product was added and sort them by category to give new products by cat etc.

When it comes to best sellers surely it would be better to provide this to networks as a seperate data feed for all and in that the networks can assemble them also into rss.

I know of course that depends on the network pulling their fingers out but surely that is a much more logical way of doing this?

Regarding seperate feeds for best sellers etc. yes it would be good if we could supply (and I say we as merchants in general) a product feed of just the best sellers but as it stands with the networks we use you can only submit one product feed to them, if they did accept more than one feed then great it just means we would have to pay out to the developers again to set up another automatic system to generate more feeds based on the best sellers overall and per category (looks wistfully out the window into the blackness dreaming of a bottomless pit of development budget)
