I use a website called www.graphicmail.com You buy credits & use up the credits for each email sent.
Hi Guys,
I would like to send bulk emails to people who have purchased items from me using eBay, and who have agreed to me sending further emails with offers from my websites. The thing is, I am currently sending each email either one at a time, or using the BCC feature so I don't end up sending everyone's email addy's all over!
Is there a simple way to set up an email list using outlook? I would like to send the same email to previuos customers only displaying their own email address in the to field. You know what I mean...
So ideally, I can do this using outlook, but if you know of a simple package for this kind of thing I would love to hear about it. Also, I am only sending a few hundred emails maximum.
Thanks in advance,
P-Man

Don't know whether this is any help... there are a few programs around which will send bulk emails and import contacts from csv files. Export your contacts from outlook in csv format and away you go.
I used to use one which was free but had a limit to the number of contacts but I can't remember the name![]()
Just install phplist and you can manage unlimited mailing lists and all the other associated things you might want to do in the future. Providing that is you have hosting with php and mysql support.
Pollensa, if you have the same then just install phplist too, never heard of someone paying to send emails nowadays, small amount or not.
Nothing to see here...
I use group mail, I tried phpmail but used to fall over everytime I sent a mailing out I only have a small list to ( about 50,000 emails)
Ahhh yes, that was it! And do not forget to set your php.ini file timeout to longer than 30 seconds if you have lists over about 5,000 namesOriginally Posted by purple

I use G-Lock EasyMail which is very easy to use. They also have a program called G-Lock Email Processor which manages all of your bounce-backs and sorts them into live or dead email addresses and it can process your unsubscribes too.
I think it's about £40 for EasyMail. It's full featured and I think there's a free trial too.

I tried this programme it was ok for small lists but my list it fell over trying to send it, and the support would never reply. Would be interested to know if they have improved recently.Originally Posted by accelerator
I use mailthem pro. It's not free, but it is cheap, easy to use, and ive never seen it fall over yet.
I've used Gammdyne inthe past, which is excellent and highly configuarble, but that also means you need some tech understanding of email
I use Interspire's product for my affiliate sites, quick and easy to set up forms and emails and seems pretty robust
If you really just want to use Outlook, check out the email mail-merge feature in word, it shoud do what you want, but as your list gets bigger you'll have a bugger of a job managing bounces & unsubscribes. I wouldn't recommend it for more than about 3-500 names maximum.
I use World Cast from http://www.fairlogic.com/worldcast/index.shtml which is free. Its software rather than database powered which would run from your website.
I use GroupMail. You can import, export, check email addresses and have subscribe/unsubscribe options. It integrates with Outlook. You can have multiple groups, templates and send in plain text or HTML. All in all, an excellent bit of kit.
Yep. infacta.com I think. Works a treat.Originally Posted by affiliates
I have just spent 2 days installing and configuring phplist and php to work together. And what a program. I would recommend anyone looking for an email sending web application to have a look at phplist! I will certainly be donating to their 'cause'.
I am very pleased with phplist and its ability to set up a decent mailing list ...and at no cost! (aside from donating!)
Cheers pricethat![]()
