I'd love to know how much they are making from PPC ads on that site![]()
these guys must be rubbing their hands with glee - thanks to NewsInt buying the .com as they are now getting over 320,000 UVs per month.
Prior to then just 145! (even though they've owned it since '97)http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.myspace.co.uk
OOOw I can't wait til a large company buys the .com, .co.uk. .net on floccinoccinihilipilification![]()

my sentiments exactly - on SEDO if they averaging 10p that's tidy sum - for albeit erroneous traffic
That is such a great piece of luck, owning the domain name of one of the internet's biggest brands!
I wonder if they have been approached to sell it?
That is the world of domains - a bit of a lottery - they have a variety of uses or can simply sit there or parked waiting to be bought...not all will be...but you might get lucky...maybe just maybe.....
I find the fact that myspace.com didn't slurp up all the extensions around the world at an earlier time quite scary.
maybe they tried to.. who knows... but you'd think a company like that would have sorted it by now
Yeh, once the money started rolling in I'm sure it wouldn't eat much into their wedge of cash to buy out the other extensions.Originally Posted by Shane

MySpace recently launced itself in the UK so I wouldn't be surprised if there's even more money to be made. Although with the sad state of the domain name industry nowadays there's not much point in trying - remember the itunes domain dispute? Doesn't matter who's owned it the longest, it's about who has the most money. And to be honest they could quite easily get taken for passing off. The more popularity it gets, the faster it'll get taken down.
It's just the pessimist in me screaming to get out.
