    Hi

All websites, new or old, need traffic, don't they?

There are lots of ways to get it - SEO-optimise your pages,
write articles, swap links (not particularly favoured these days
by Google), write a press release (sometimes you get loads
of traffic, but often you don't even notice), viral marketing etc.

I think you should visit the website promotion section of this
forum and see what others are doing.

You could also visit website promotion guides like this
    www.apromotionguide.com (I have one, too - doesn't everyone! )

My top tip would be to try and get on the blogosphere radar
(if that's the right expression). If your site does or says something
funny, then bloggers (once they know about it) will all write
about it at the same time, sending you lots of curious visitors.

Promoting your website is an ongoing process. Find something
that works, then do it and do it some more. Then find something
    else that works, etc.

I'm afraid it's neverending, just as long as you have the website,
you have the issue of promoting it.

By the way, what ideas do you have yourself?

    Steve
