    Hello Folks,

I hope you are all well.

We are launching the new and improved Prezzybox.com site design in a couple of weeks. We've tried to build the site in a user (and affiliate) friendly way, but would obviously appreciate your comments...

So, would you be so kind as to visit the site (click here) and let me know what you think - be it good, bad or indifferent.

(Please note. This is a work in progress site, so for example the home page and the product page are not 100% right, but you'll get the idea).

There are a number of new additions to the site...

    1) Your account section - allowing people to track orders, see order history, create a contacts list etc etc

    2) New Features - We've also added a number of new features - such as gift reminder service and a wish list facility.

    3) Product Content - We've also added the ability to add customer reviews and photo's to products.

    4) Affiliate Branding. We are also keen to replicate our landing pages that we offered for our affiliates (click here) but also we can combine this with something a little different. If you check out the site by clicking here then you see in the top right hand corner the telephone number is replaced by a message (which is what will happen when users come via affiliates). We can then have custom messages for individual affiliates.

So folks, what do you think? If there is anything you feel we should add/change on the site or are there any problems that need fixing (we know about quite a few, but we are bound to have missed some...) then please let me know.

Thanks all. As always your input is greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Zak.

seems indifference rules the day so far mate.. lol..

come on guys I don't know a harder working more affiliate orientated merchant than zak so get some feedback in for team PB so they know it's on the right track or to make some changes..

    ok here's my observations

nice concise design, colours work well together and the gradients are nice, clean navigation

product pages are good, the add to cart button just begs to be clicked
ipoints, hackersafe and thawte nicely positioned to add confidence to the "not sure the internet is safe" brigade

like the "in this category" list too showing alternative choices, should aid conversion where the product they clicked isn't quite right for them.

customer reviews and customer photos is a great addition, as is the product comparison charts, associated gift ideas and product features "more like this" etc at the bottom of the product pages is cool.

all in all the product pages should convert traffic nicely, only thing that stood out for me was, white space area at top of the page due to the "add to cart" box and no second "add to cart" button at the bottom of the product description.

not sure if the white space is a negative or positive, it's just that I noticed it, it's dead space right in front of your eyes on first entering the product page... although it does highlight the add to cart box as a result

so all in all it's a more concise and focussed layout than the present one, I'm sure the new features and layout will squeeze a better conversion out of visitors landing there.

Did have a quick look Zak - but been busy with paddling pools
looks great - like the idea of affiliate branding - the only minor gripe I have - and it could be a personal thing - is the pink on pink on pink category index - old (ish) eyes find it a tad hard work to read

    cheers

To be honest with you the solid colours look better than what you have done with the gradient thing.

I like the site but all that gradient on the box backgrounds and header nav just dont do it for me, sorry.
    Nothing to see here...

Yes mate. I was gonna start kicking some butt!!!

Really appreciate what you say folks. I've answered some of your comments below...

When the new site is launched the product image will sit along side (to the left) of the add to cart box. It's just that this image is taken from the live site so we can't make it do that till we make it live as it would effect the current site.

Point taken mate and I'll mention it to designers. We are actually looking at an accesibility tool whereby you can make the text bigger/smaller and hopefully should have something ready soon.

    Price that says..

No worries. You can't please all the people all the time...

Cheers chaps. If anybody has any other comments/observations please shout!

    Zak.

    Hi Zak,

Have spent all day trying to get the card processing to work on my site (insert loud and venomous swear words here) so glad to take time out to have a look at your new site.

Love the idea of affiliate branding.

Site looks professional ... got to agree with my most wise MIL on the overly pink issue but that's just a personal colour choice thing. My eyes are a little younger but usually tired and struggle a bit with anything "wah"

Wouldn't stop me using the site tho

Just to be a tad controversial I actually like the existing site ... that's fickle women for you

Any way .... best of luck ... Sue
