Having mostly ditched Commission Junction now on the back of their ludicrous decision to force all links to be javascript, I find that I still have a couple of progs ONLY on CJ so they've got me over a barrel really.

The loony javascript system of course means you can't change the descriptive text on a text link for example, which is ridiculous - I don't want to put up a web link saying something like 'superwebhost.com - best web hosting in the world'.

I want to frig it to say something like 'affordable web hosting'.

I've had a look at the javascript behind the call, and its a form submit - anyone got any idea how I could extract the real link from it and just call that directly (bypassing the stupid javascript bit)????

Errm, why not just click on the link that says Legacy Link Code (non-Javascript) - on the Get HTML page

Then you can get the old style HTML link.

    Easy peasy.
Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.

If ignorance is bliss then some of the people I know must be orgasmic.

errm because they have announced their intention to stop supporting the 'legacy' versions within the next few months.
