Not seen it mentioned here yet, but AdCenter is now open for UK advertisers. £5.00 signup, no minimum spend.

Have got a fair bit of personal stuff wating for editorial review as we speak. First impressions of set up structure and layout were pretty smooth. Lots of fluffy charts and graphs to ooh and ahh over. The crucial elemments were there and easy to tweak.

Shame about the editorial process though, even overture keep mentioning that they are lookign to remove this - would have preferred the google approach with Adcenter bit i'm liking 0.05 bids and the lack of competition

Spend predictions are looking at little ropey too. For one word that I spend about £20 per day on Google it's just quoted £4.55 for the month!

Interesting to see how well it converts and how traffic figures stand up, i know my natural traffic from MSN converts much better than that of google and yahoo.

Is it open to publishers too? As it's about time there was an alternative to AdSense albeit to keep everyone on their toes so-to-speak!

I've just opened an account with them too, and popped up a few hundred terms. I found it a bit confusing, but I managed to set things up quite quick so I assume it must be quite an intuitive interface (or perhaps I'm just lucky?!).

it took a few hours for them to appear on my account. Even when they were showing as approved on the system they still weren't up, but they did appear eventually!

Opened the account @2pm live about 7pm. Process seems to be
1/ Billing status shows awaiting credit check
2/ Billing status changes to no hold, £5 charged to card
    3/ Keywords listing as pending
    4/ Keywords change to approved
    5/ Keywords go live

    There's about a 2 hour gap between 4/ and 5/

I signed up earlier - looks nice - a welcome change from "those who should not be mentioned".

Now I can't log in - using the URL sent in the confirmation email - all I get is a blank screen with the Adcenter logo in the top left corner.

    Anyone go any ideas???

Let's hope they give G a real run for their money!

That happened to me too. I just went back to http://adcenter.microsoft.co.uk/
and logged in from there. Worked fine.

We set up several campaigns with MSN US a couple of months ago, and we are spending about $1 per month. We even got 2 or 3 sales so not a bad return. I hope the UK MSN will have more traffic.

Well, my new campaign only had one click yesterday, but it miraculously converted to a sale. 5p to £10. It'd be lovely if it continued like that, but alas I fear it may have been a bit of a fluke... encouraging start though!

All looks good so far, it took them about 2 hours to vet my keywords.

That was yesterday afternoon.. and so far I have only had 5 impressions over 20 keywords. These same keywords on Google would have generated 10,000's.

Still, I have heard that LIVE search will be included in Windows Vista, the new Hotmail and Windows Messenger so the potential is awesome.

It feels like a fresh start. I am so jaded by Google... I always have that uneasy feeling that humans aren't actually clikcing on my advert and it is just some robot with his hands in my pockets! I have spent so much, and gained so little over last few years

I look forward to your feedback on this new service!!

    Hi
I spoke to someone at MSN quite a few months ago, and at that time they mentioned the keywords from Yahoo would get transferred across onto MSN. But this doesn't seem to be the case and I can't get hold of the guy at MSN!
