Nice sale Lee - Eurostar can be a nice little earner![]()
Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.
If ignorance is bliss then some of the people I know must be orgasmic.
Are you missing your "f" and "u" keys (as well as a few marbles)?![]()
Thanks kbudden, I'm pretty sure it was from a travel site I didn't quite manage to finish, it's good to see a little work pays off eventually. I've added eurostar to the current travel site, hopefully that will pay dividends as well. £500 though? it must have been a large party unless it includes hotel.
Hi lee

I hope you didnt get it through ppc. you may lose your commission and get booted off of the program.
I wonder whether they will ban bidding on "choo choo". Presumably they won't let us bid on "train to paris"...Nice one interflora...erm..eurostar...

Dear Affiliate,
With immediate effect, Eurostar will implement a new PPC
policy for all Affiliates. Please read our detailed Policy
Guidelines (on our program information page), with the
main Policy being:
There will be no bidding allowed by affiliate partners on
any terms (Brand or Generic).
We've introduced this policy after an in-depth study of
what drives incremental sales and because of the growing
competition in search and the resulting CPC inflation.
Therefore all PPC bidding in future will be restricted to
Eurostar and authorised Tour Operators.
To ensure this policy is adhered to, we ask that all
affiliates currently bidding on related terms kindly
remove these from their campaigns. The Eurostar brand is
trademark protection with Google, Overture and MSN and we
ask that you respect this trademark.
This policy will be monitored by Tradedoubler, Eurostar
and the relevant search engines in order to ensure that it
is being adhered to.
Thank you for your swift co-operation in line with these
new policy guidelines.
Regards,
Clare Hamilton

No I don't do PPC - all these PPC warning emails annoy the hell out of me, the sale came through one of their search tools.
