Intersting thread on WMW Give me back my google
Just using the "inurl" term to remove some so called comparison sites plus ebay etc.
Certainly makes for a different search page!

it's a good read but since the site returns google.com results and not co.uk and the results page contains the full string it's a bit naff as it stands.

Agreed, though you can just paste a string into google uk to see the difference:
digital cameras -inurl:(kelkoo|bizrate|pixmania|dealtime|pricerunne r|dooyoo|pricegrabber|pricewatch|resellerratings|e bay|shopbot|comparestoreprices|ciao|unbeatable|sho pping|epinions|nextag|buy)

I guess they are just trying to show the difference but if they really wanted to make it any use they could maybe add tick boxes against major sites so you can decide yourself, then an option to add others that annoy you or you find a waste of time.

No - there should be no spaces in "pricerunne r" or "sho pping".
I tried edditing it but when ever I paste it to the forum it adds the spaces!
