Keeping up with the times

Like most of us on here I have a myriad of sites that I visit on a daily basis so that I can keep abreast of all things related to this fast moving life we've chosen to live. Is there any software out there that will collate all that information on a regular basis and display it in a simple format? Blogs, RSS, affiliate network sales summary pages all that sort of thing. I've been trying to grapple with RSS newsreaders but I can't find one that is sufficiently intuitive or will cover all the other types of pages as well. Dare I say I'd actually consider buying some software if it did the trick because it would save so much time every day.

I'm probably asking too much of a piece of software to collate all these different types of information, but you never know......

I use bloglines.com and like it a lot, but I hear the new Google Reader is good too.

Thanks I'll give those a go.

I've also been playing around with IE7 tabs. I've set my home page as being 8 tabbed pages which means that when I open IE I actually open 8 sites at the same time.
