Lightbulb Help needed with trade doubler and adwords

Hi all,

Another new kid needing advice please so any knowledge on starting up a new affiliate site will be most appreciated.

I wont go into to much detail as I dont really have any but I'm currently building a basic website site using Trade Doubler links for all my products and banners which are generally boys stuff like trainers, music, games etc.. To drive traffic I'll be using google ad words as well as using adwords to go directly to the merchants.

That’s about it in a nut shell as I'll be learning as I go along but any obvious advice on using trade doubler and adwords would really help.

Some questions I do have are:

  • Should I buy traffice for my site when its up and running?
  • Are there any other ways to get traffic to my site apart from the above and adwords?
  • Should I stick to a single or just 2 or 3 products when starting out or fill up my site with lots?

Many thanks and any advice is good advice for me at the moment.

Cheers.

Yes,
Yes,
and Yes.

Come on Benny, give us something to work with.
Maybe, spend a few days reading past threads and narrow down your questions a bit first - then we could give you some more helpful answers.

PS - that is a helpful answer.

In answer to the first question it depends where you are buying your traffic from. I have tried some domain re-direction services and have just been ripped off - so be careful.

To get traffic from other places there are plenty of free resources you can use. Here are some of the best...

http://www.freeadreport.com

http://www.usfreeads.com

http://www.adlandpro.com

Another way to get traffic is to write articles about the things you are selling and stick a link to your site in your bio.

All the best.

Stu.
