I'm just writing from petmeds.co.uk (webgains) and am looking for feedback on what our affiliates would like from us. We are about to send out a newsletter also asking for feedback.

What we do is obvious but it's quite a new market which is growing fast. We are presently the 2nd largest site and growing faster than our competitors (we use hitwise) We think we will be the largest in about 6-7 months. We are now just starting to expand our products to include some typical pet shop things to create the whole 1 stop shop thing and we are creating a couple of new sites to help generate a community and also to get more coverage in the main newspapers.

Our thoughts on what we offer are:

Rates/Cookie - Our starting rate is 5% going up to 8.5% and we have a cookie life of 3 months. We expect that the lower rate doesn't help matters but a lot of the products are low margin. Perhaps changing to a higher rate with a 1 month cookie or a lower flat rate on all sales. We have a high reorder rate so the latter is better for affiliates but I guess it won't help our signups?

Custom Codes/Banners - We are happy to offer custom banners.

We offer a product feed, would you like a newsfeed or just a newsletter is sufficient?

Promo Codes - We offer a 5% promo code which can also be customised through a banner.

What else? We will be as flexible as possible so any feedback is greatly appreciated and we will act on it all as soon as possible.
