Dear All,

envirofone.com is the UK's leading online mobile phone recycling company that pays cash to any one who trades an old mobile phone in with us and it is accepted under our terms and conditions.

We are now looking for new affiliates to join our network to promote the envirofone.com concept through their web sites or through email marketing.

OK so what do we offer?

The envirofone.com network works on a CPA basis - it's not an instant results campaign as we have to send out freepost envelopes and then receive and check the mobiles but once the campaign gets up and running it does pay a steady revenue. It's not going to pay for the yacht in the Med but it will make your customers and users really happy - after all they get cash for something that was just rubbish.

What is the opportunity?

OK, this is really simple - This year there were over 25 million new mobile phones sold and industry estimates say that there were only 4 million recycled or reused. This leaves over 21 million to be recycled just for this year alone - on a population of 60 million that is nearly 1 in 2 got a new phone this year so we want the old ones.

If you consider how often people change mobiles it is estimated that there are 80 million old ones out there that are worth money.

January Madness

OK, January is one of the biggest months for mobile recycling so here is a bit of quick information. We did a small mail campaign with an affiliate last week and we had over 200 remind me in a few weeks emails - in terms of the sample the response rate in terms of action was getting up to 5 per cent. Not bad really for a first email.

Prices on ebay are higher

That's true as these are generally consumers selling to consumers - in fact just in the mobile phone section of the site there are over 32,000 listings today so there is definetly no gaurenteed sale.

The problem is that it costs to list and it costs to sell. The difference with envirofone.com is that we are a business, we pay when we say we will pay and you can always talk to us on the phone. In fact having paid out about £700,000 since March to users thats not really too bad.

Do we work well with affiliates?

We like to think so - we have had some good feedback from affiliates and we try to incorporate it wherever possible, also we try to approve transactions quickly, we pay Webgains by DD so we are in credit and to be honest we WANT to pay you - now how often do you hear that from a merchant.

Any Questions?

Please feel free to email me or post any comments (I will try to respond ASAP) - apologies if this is posted in the wrong forum before anyone tells me off - and many thanks for your time.
