Lightbulb Calling all Affiliates! Have your say!

Hi all,

We want you to tell us what your preferred creative formats are for the benefit of merchants everywhere!

We currently use a wide range of formats (listed below) but want to give you the power to decide what formats merchants should be prioritising.

So.....which of the following sizes do you love/hate/wouldn't use in a month of Sundays etc.?

100x100
120x60
120x90
160x600
234x60
300x250
428x60
728x90

All feedback, as ever, is greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Re: Calling all Affiliates! Have your say!

120x60 - essential (logo only)
120x600 good
468x60 good
125x125 useful, not essential

We also do a lot of solus emails, so something like 600x400 with the same message as the banners and a clear call to action is really handy.

Email doesn't need to follow strict sizes like banners do, but that sort of size is pretty good for an email with a single offer.

100x100 - nah
120x60 - love
120x90 - ok
160x600 - yuk, prefer 120x600
234x60 - not really
300x250 - no never
428x60 - should this be 468x60
728x90 - nope... too big

Also love 70x20 (logo) 88x31 (log) and anything that is interactive like content units, search boxes - oh and they have to be either resizeable or sensible sizes (not just random nonsense).

100x100 - nah
120x60 - essential
120x90 - take it or leave it
160x600 - nah - prefer 120x600 - 160 is just too wide
234x60 - nice to have
300x250 - never use
428x60 - assume you mean 468x60 - essential
728x90 - nice to have

I'd echo Jason's statement re interactive creative.

My absolute hate is merchants who make creative really weird sizes - I'm not going to redesign my standard page templates and adserver setup just for you - so no standard size, no promotion - simple.

100x100 - nope
120x60 - essential
120x90 - sometimes useful
160x600 - useless, 120x600 is better
234x60 - nope
300x250 - vaguely useful
428x60 - assuming you mean 468x60 then essential
728x90 - nope

We also use 88x31 everywhere and can use 125x125 where available.

Site layouts pretty much dictate which graphics we can use and if you ain't got 'em you just miss those ad slots.
